your comment ends where the arguments of the Eastern Orthodoxy start. Could you please elaborate on “Who decides?”? Each and every serious analysis of key texts defining the “how we should live this christian convictions of ours?” is dismissed offhand by the so theological “cujus religio, ejus argumentatio” 🙂 i.e. “you talk nonsense because you are out of the Holy Church”.
So please advise on how to approach the problem of authority when it comes to interpretation or suggest some reading.
