Hi, I was wondering what you meant by this statement:
"I’m also glad that you’re not impressed with their position on the Torah, as I believe it is a forerunner of a very great deception that will test the body of Messiah to the core."
I was a member of a blog last year and ran into some people who believe the church must obey OT Law "as much as possible" LOL. Is this trust in the Law part of the "deception that will test the body" and how will that happen?

In reply to <a href="https://mysteryofisrael.org/the-abomination-of-desolation-in-2013/#comment-120">Dave</a>.

Just this morning I sent something out that addressed this very issue. You should be seeing that in a few days when Tom has time to put it up. He may change the title, but I called it, "distinguishing the peace we're looking for." In it, I point that when the exiles returned under Zerubabbel, no sooner did they arrive than they began offering the daily sacrifice while the temple was only beginning to be rebuilt. Also, the Greek word that Paul uses for the temple of God in 2Thes is the word for the inmost part of the temple. This is in keeping with Jesus' mention of the "holy place," which is just outside the holy of holies, so a completed structure is not needed to fulfill the prophecy, only its beginnings. In the Beloved, Reggie

I agree with everything Reggie has put forth in this article. 2 Thess. 2 must be fulfilled before the return of Christ. My Pastor and I was talking and he mentioned something either I didn't know or if I did, just really didn't think about. He stated the Jew's can pitch a tent, it doesn't have to be a constructed temple that would take years to build. If that is the case, then the events could happen extremely quickly as far as the temple and sacrifice coming into play.
