I am so troubled by the Messianic Mystery, because it appears to be far deeper than perhaps most Christians might themselves consider or believe.
I think the real problem lies in the picture of a standard Jewish wedding: the groom returns from his father’s house, and surprises the waiting bride, then immediately takes her back without delay to the house his father set up for her.
According to this picture, Yeshua would not and could not return immediately after the tribulation period to get His bride and then wait here on earth for another thousand years before He could take her back home.
What if, then, the true Messianic Mystery embodies just what us Jews have always expected him to be, a scion of David who is quite human? And Yeshua Himself will not be returning until after the thousand year Millennium, when He will immediately take His bride and return to His father’s house?

I believe there is some indication of this in two places in John’s Holy vision, that tell us that Yeshua does indeed have a delegated Messianic human leader.
Revelations 11: 15 “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord (Yeshua), and of His christ (or messianic anointed one…”
And in Revelations 12: 10 ” Now is come salvation ( a hebrew word meaning Yeshua), and strength, and the Kingdom of our God (Yehsua), and the power of His Christ (or Messianic anointed one…”
So this seems to indicate, at least to me, that this great apostle is quietly telling us that we should be very alert and remain open to the real possibility that the true “controversy of Zion” may well involve both the Church, the body of Christ, and Israel, in a most surprising embodiment of Christ in an anionted servant like unto Moses, who is in fact a human being!
