Throughout the NT, there are two Israels. There is the outward nation that remains in apostasy, and there is the righteous remnant according to the election of grace. Paul belonged to this remnant. It is the Israel within Israel, the Israel of God, never called a “new” Israel, but indeed […]
It took us two sessions to cover Daniel Chapters 10 through 12. This fifth and final vision of the prophet Daniel is of a “certain man” whose description bears an amazing resemblance to John’s vision of one “like the son of man”, who is the Alpha and Omega, Him who has the keys of hell and of death. In these chapters this “certain man” talks to Daniel in detail about things which are to come.

In Chapter 9, Daniel realizes that the 70 years of exile is almost over, so he cries out to God for mercy for himself and his people. In response he has a vision of the the angel Gabriel who begins to explain God’s timetable for delivering Israel. Reggie Kelly and Phil Norcom lead us through the five visions of Daniel with emphasis on what they mean for Israel and the Church (The Mystery of Israel).
Daniel’s vision here in Chapter 8 and provides additional detail to the Nebuchadnezzar’s vision in Chapter 2 and the four beasts of Chapter 7. They all point to a climax that will occur in “the last days.” Reggie Kelly and Phil Norcom lead us through the five visions of Daniel with emphasis on what they mean for Israel and the Church (The Mystery of Israel).
Daniel’s vision of the four beasts is the second vision in the book of Daniel (Chapter 7) and provides additional detail to the first vision in Chapter 2. They all point to a climax that will occur in “the last days.” Reggie Kelly and Phil Norcom lead us through the five visions of Daniel with emphasis on what they mean for Israel and the Church (The Mystery of Israel).
The KC Prophetical School has posted audio of Reggie’s session at the Hope of Israel Convocation in Feb. You can find it on their web site HERE. Audio from other participants (Scott Volk and Dalton Thomas) can also be found there in the media section.
Observe how the later prophets build on the former, expanding on many of the same themes. One of those themes is ‘Zion’s travail,’ as the last day’s transition into the golden age of permanent peace in the land, as the end of the covenant (“shall lie down in safety, none […]
I don’t believe so. Here’s why: In the larger context, it appears that the end of the treading down of Jerusalem must continue to the “redemption” of verse 28 (Luke 21:28), which is Christ’s return in glory. This would extend the “times of the gentiles” to include the final 42 months during which time Jerusalem is once again “trodden down by the gentiles” during the time of Antichrist.
